Illustration

Illustration plays a part in our identity when we need to add humor or warmth. Our illustrations help communicate our brand values and show our guests who we are.

Our Illustration Style

Our illustrations are single-colour and of a line-drawing style. The style is simple in order to clearly depict an idea relating to our service or the guest’s experience. An element of humour is present in all of our illustrations, and this will be carried forward in future commissions too.  Each illustration includes a human element, even when a person isn’t present within the drawing, there are hands or another hint at human presence.

Our style is commissioned and cannot be recreated by any other than the original creator. Please see further down the page for information on how to commission a new illustration.

Brand Values Illustrations

Illustration is the perfect way to quickly articulate our brand values. We have commissioned a pair of illustrations per brand value and these can be used broadly across our collateral.

Flawless Comfort

These two illustrations demonstrate the ease of a guest’s experience at The Clermont.

Thoughtful Experiences

Our team work together and no matter how big the request, we are here to help.

The Beautifully Unexpected

When you least expect it, our team is thinking of you. Whether that’s a complimentary drink on arrival with our Clermont Coin or bending over backwards to deliver you the things you’d like.

Commissioning a New Illustration

If there isn’t an illustration within our set that will suit your needs, and you feel another would add value to the set, please get in contact with our brand manager to discuss further.

Illustrations Don’ts

To maintain the integrity of The Clermont brand, there should be consideration when using illustrations. It’s important to make our illustrations legible and to use them consistently across all assets.

Don’t place the illustrations on a dark background

Don’t colour-in the illustrations

Don’t make the illustrations too small

Don’t over use the illustrations (try to keep one illustration per asset)

Don’t make patterns with the illustrations

Don’t squash or stretch the illustrations
