It is important that the ambiance we introduced to a guest upon arrival flows throughout the hotel. We keep these areas clean and clear at all times, not just for the safety of everyone in the hotel, but also for the enjoyment of every guest.
- Guests can access the lifts with their room key card
- Ensure lighting settings are consistent and set to the hotel’s desired ambient levels for that time of day
- All advertising must be produced according to brand guidelines. It should be relevant, and where possible, changed to match the appropriate offer to the time of day
- Clear, branded wayfinding is in place, directing guests to various parts of the property
- Any temporary signage must be produced in line with brand guidelines
- Lifts, stairs and corridors should be spot checked every hour. The overnight team are to carry out two patrols of these areas per evening
- Corridors are kept clear and clutter free at all times
- Bathrooms should be spot checked every 30 minutes (where applicable) for sufficient stock of toilet paper, soap and hand cream
- Soap and hand cream pumps are placed between every pair of sinks
- No advertising should be placed anywhere in the bathrooms; safety & hygiene messages can be displayed if necessary
- Each bathroom must feature a full-length mirror and a hand dryer/s. We do not use paper towels
- The gym is open between 6am – 11pm
- Access is gained via the guest’s keycard
- A branded playlist is on throughout opening hours
- Ensure lighting settings are consistent, set to ambient levels
- There should be a designated workout areas for cardio, weights, stretching / yoga (mat space)
